SUMMARY:PARS-Workshop 2010
DESCRIPTION:The PARS-Workshop series has the goal to build a bridge between
theory and practice in the area of parallel systems and algorithms. In thi
s context practical problems which require theoretical investigations as we
ll as the applicability of theoretical approaches and results to practice s
hall be discussed. An important aspect is communication and exchange of exp
erience between various groups working in the area of parallel computing, e
.g. in computer science, electrical engineering, physics or mathematics.\n\
nTopics of Interest include, but are not restricted to:\n\n- parallel archi
tectures & storage systems - interconnection networks\n\n- parallel embedde
d systems - reconfigurable parallel computing\n\n- ubiquitous and pervasive
systems - distributed and parallel multimedia systems\n\n- models of paral
lel computation - performance evaluation of parallel systems\n\n- data stre
am-oriented computing - software engineering for parallel systems\n\n- para
llel and distributed algorithms - parallel programming languages\n\n- netwo
rk and grid computing - new technologies & architectures (SoC, Multicores,
PIM, etc.)\n\n- parallel organic computing - alternative technologies (e.g.
quantum or DNA computing)\n\nThe workshop will comprise invited papers on
current topics of leading experts in the field as well as submitted papers.
\n\nThe accepted papers shall have a length of about 10 pages A4 and will b
e published in the ARCS Workshop Proceedings as well as in the PARS Newslet
ter (ISSN 0177-0454). For ARCS 2010 participants the workshop is included i
n the conference fee, for participation in the workshop alone, we try to ar
range a reduced fee. The conference language is English. Papers are require
d to be in English.\n\nCall for Papers\n\nCall for Papers, PARS 2010\n\nPro
